Bilateral Breast Uplift The experience of my maxopexy and uplift has been nothing but positive from my initial consultation with Mr Raine through to my post-op follow ups. On the day of the operation I was feeling apprehensive but I was made to feel completely at ease by the kind nurses. After debating about breast augmentation surgery for many years I am so glad that I finally went ahead with it, especially having Mr Raine as my surgeon. I honestly cannot fault him from my very first consultation I was at ease. Mr Raine explained in detail what to expect from the surgery, different types of procedures and different implant types. As well as this he listened to all my questions/concerns. After the surgery Mr Raine came to see me and reassured me that everything went well. I have had no issues following the procedure and my scars are minimal and continue to fade as the months pass. I received excellent care prior to and after my surgery not only by Mr Raine himself but by all the staff at the Spire Murrayfield Hospital. I contacted Mr Raine on more than several occasions after my surgery with general queries and I would receive a reply straight away if not within the same hour. Mr Raine has reassured me from day one. I felt as though I could ask him anything and that it didn't seem a hassle to him at all, he always seemed more than happy to advise. Looking at the before and after pictures the transformation that Mr Raine has achieved is truly outstanding! I am so happy with my result and they are even better than I would have ever hoped could be achieved. Mr Raine is truly professional in every aspect of his care/work and I am very thankful to him.

I had been thinking about breast surgery for 20 years before deciding to go for it. Mr Raine was brilliant. He explained everything in detail and I never felt rushed at any appointment. On the day of the surgery i was nervous but the staff made me feel at ease and looked after me very well. The hospital was very clean also which was very important in my decision on where having my surgery. My surgery went very well with no complications and the nurses were excellent and really looked after me. I never felt left on my own. I was able to contact Mr Raine after my surgery with a query and had a response the same day. After deciding I would like breast surgery which I had been considering for a while, I started to look for possible surgeons and hospitals. A friend of mine recommended Mr Raine from Spire- Murryfield, Edinburgh. I had a look at his profile on their website and decided to arrange consultation. Mr Raine was very welcoming, pleasant and professional. After providing me with all information about the two procedures I required, (breast augmentation and correction of inverted nipples) I decided to book my surgery. I then had another consultation to determine the size of the implants and go over any questions I had. I wasn't sure what size I wanted to go to, I just wanted my breasts to look more in proportion to my body but also keeping them looking natural. My breasts were a 32A before my surgery and having broad shoulders I felt so unbalanced, I was very self cautious with the way I looked. Mr Raine suggested that a 34D created using teardrop implants would be the best option for me, my scar would be thin and in my natural crease about 5inches long. He let me try some implants on inside a sports bra so I could get an idea of the size I was going to be. I found this extremely helpful and I was very confident I was making the right decisions. On the day of my surgery I was extremely nervous, all the staff were great and kept me occupied until it was time to go up. Shortly before hand Mr Raine came down to go over the procedure with me again and to take some final measurements. After my surgery I stayed in the hospital for one night, I woke up feeling very sluggish and sleepy. I was expecting to be in a lot of pain when I woke up but It wasn't nearly as bad as I imagined- I just felt uncomfortable and my chest felt very heavy. I was only in pain if I moved to sit up or get up to go to the toilet. I given plenty of pain killers to take home with me and my check up appointments were arranged. When home, the first few days I was just resting. As the days went on I could do a little bit more every day and after two weeks I was driving and able to to do a slow cycle on the bike at the gym. It took about 6 weeks before I could start doing high intensity cardio again. I am extremely happy with what Mr Raine has achieved and I am very grateful to him. The results are amazing and exactly what I was hoping for .

Having always wanting breast surgery since I was 18 years old (now 24) I decided to do some research and see what options were available to me. Without speaking directly to a doctor I'd looked online at methods on how to fix asymmetry and had decided I wanted a reduction, uplift and breast implants. I discussed this with family to which they agreed in supporting me through out my experience. I got in contact with spire at murryfield - Edinburgh, who told me to have a look at surgeons and see who I'd like to go with. I instantly knew after reading Mr Raines profile that I'd like to go to himself. After my first consultation, which was very welcoming and Mr Raine made me feel very at ease. I had explained what I would like to have done, after discussing for around an hour I decided to go with Mr Raines advice which was for breast reduction, uplift and fat grafting. At first I wasn't sure about this as I hadn't heard a lot about fat grafting which was something I struggled so easily to accept. Again after more consultations and more awareness of the fat grafting, this was a great option to go for. I was a size E on one breast and a C on the other which made bra's very hard to buy, I also had very droopy breasts which at 24 years old I was very self conscious of. I am now an equal E cup and have perfect, natural looking breasts. I most definitely made the right choice. This option is more expensive at first against implants and may require a few procedures (I had two) however in the long term, it works out better value for money with less complications and risks of implants along with a more natural look.
